Twenty Years at Niagara Falls
I’ve been coming to Niagara Falls for over twenty years. The grandeur still amazes me every time, especially with a rainbow capping it off.
Niagara Falls had long been one of my favorite places. I had been coming here for over twenty years, returning across two full decades of my life. You might think that visiting the exact same location for more than twenty years would eventually wear off the novelty, but Niagara Falls never worked like that for me.
The sheer grandeur of the falls continued to amaze me, even after all those years and all those previous visits. That was the thing about this place—it held a kind of weight and magnitude that didn't fade over time. It remained genuinely special to me, standing as a spot that managed to hold its power across twenty-plus years of my own personal history.
Every time I went back, I was looking for that same feeling, and every time, the place delivered it. There was an enduring quality to the grandeur there. It was not something I ever took for granted, especially after coming back for so long and finding that it still had the exact same ability to hold my attention completely.
This time, a rainbow capped the scene, framing the falls in a way that finished the view really well. It sat right there above the grandeur, adding one final element to a place that was already deeply special to me. Standing there, watching the rainbow cap off a view I had known for over twenty years, I was reminded once again why this remained one of my absolute favorite places.
